During the weKONEKT.week, FARI and weKONEKT.brussels organised the FARI AI Datawalk & Demos. Students got the opportunity to view the city in a new light and explore the newly opened AI Test & Experience Center. Its point is to make citizens aware of various ways data is collected around you, with or without your knowledge. VUB and ULB students had exclusive access to the new space.

For the sixth year running, students, academic staff and partners are joining forces in Brussels for the weKONEKT.week. From Monday 27 to Friday 31 March, 4,000 students from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and Erasmushogeschool Brussel (EhB) are heading out into the city.

As Urban Engaged Universities, the VUB, ULB and EhB bring their students and staff into contact with the richness, complexity and beauty of Brussels. This year, we are once again coming to town during the weKONEKT week, from 27 to 31 March 2023.

Overal in Brussel stapelen er zich herinneringen op. De nostalgische stad is dan ook een rijke voedingsbodem voor heel wat mooie, melancholische, tedere of aangrijpende momenten. De dichters van de Moeial nemen je mee op een wandeling doorheen dat pakkende voelen.

In aanloop naar de bouw van het vechtsportexpertisecentrum op de VUB campus te Etterbeek, trekken we samen met het alle eerstejaarsstudenten LOBW en het Vechtsportplatform naar Shockx Sports Centre, MMA gelegen te Molenbeek.

Laura will be reading from her latest novel, Lying Perfectly Still. Afterwards, we talk about themes that inspire her writing, such as narratives of cultural difference, the politics of marginalisation, the writers’ ethical responsibilities and retrieving and rewriting hidden stories and histories with a Q&A.

Students in Urban studies are invited to present their ideas concerning the reconversion of the USquare site to a panel with representatives of the municipality of Ixelles. They'll receive critical feedback from people who have experience as local administrators and have an understanding of the dynamics in and around the USquare neighbourhood.

Sportprikkels is een sportdag voor leerlingen van de 3e graad secundair onderwijs. Op 30 maart bieden derdejaarsstudenten Lichamelijke Opvoeding & Bewegingswetenschappen verschillende sporttakken aan op de campus in Etterbeek.
