During the weKONEKT.week, on 29 March 2023, we organised the FARI AI Datawalk & Demos with FARI. Students got the opportunity to view the city in a new light and explore the newly opened AI Test & Experience Center. Its point is to make citizens aware of various ways data is collected around you, with or without your knowledge. VUB and ULB students had exclusive access to the new space and were be able to connect with various demo’s and interact with local experts on AI.
The FARI AI Test & Experience Center is a public-oriented center that will allow citizens and organisations to test, experiment, and to ultimately understand what AI is and what it should be. Soon, they will offer experience tours, trainings, workshops, citizen engagements, co-creation activities, as well as events with FARI’s partners and stakeholders in this facility. The Test and Experience Center also co-houses Brussels’ European Digital Innovation Hub called sustAIn.brussels.

FARI: AI Institute for the Common Good
