What is humankind without love? Asking the question is answering it. No theme has filled more books, films and hearts than love. It seems indivisibly tied to the arts, where emotions, relationships and connection are often central tenets. But love is also the driving force in many sciences.

The third visit of the SHEFCE project was held at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels on 9-11th March 2022, involving around 20 participants representing the different partners institutions from Ireland, Croatia, Spain, Belgium and Austria. During this visit, participants learn about community engagement in higher education in specific contexts and its assessment.

For the second edition VUB and ULB joined forces with the EhB. The three institutes leave their trusted campus to venture into the city of Brussels. Over 6 000 students participated in over 150 events and we were able to welcome many staff members. Over 40 events were also open to the public.
