Expect performances that sit at the crossroads of art, culture and reflection – and, given all that lies ahead this election year, our theme for 2023 was well-chosen: Power!

Medialab week vindt voor de 4de keer plaats van 25 maart tot en met 28 maart 2024. Het is een initiatief van de opleiding Communicatiewetenschappen aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel en tracht studenten onder te dompelen in de rijkdom van de mediasector.

Op 20 oktober presenteerden VUB en KVS met Mindblowers: Power! voor de eerste keer hun gebruikelijke mix aan wetenschappelijke en artistieke interventies aan een publiek van middelbare scholieren, allen uit de derde graad en uit diverse richtingen. VUB en KVS maken leerlingen inspireren en warm voor alles wat beweegt op wetenschappelijk en cultureel vlak.

The Brussels2030 Summer Assembly est un pilier essentiel de la préparation de la candidature de Bruxelles au titre de Capitale européenne de la culture. Ce rapport résume les conclusions et questions principales qui ont émergé au cours de l’événement. Elles feront l’objet d’un suivi plus approfondi dans les mois à venir.

Als onderdeel van Het Ondenkbare Experiment, een uitdagend project van de VUB, de ULB en kunstenaar Koen Vanmechelen, doken 24 jongeren uit alle uithoeken van de wereld in de complexiteit en schoonheid van Brussel. Een regio en stad in voortdurende beweging, het thema van dit jaar.
