CurieuCity is a new arts and science festival coming to Brussels this year. It offers scientific, artistic, and educational activities, partly in public spaces and in collaboration with local initiatives. With 4 weekends and 4 different locations. Every year, 24 young people take on the challenge of imagining the future together, across borders, away from preconceived ideas and cherished beliefs. Inspired by the work of artist Koen Vanmechelen and the environment of LABIOMISTA, they think out new perspectives and ideas. In July 2024, we kick off the fourth chapter of The Unthinkable Experiment: Chapter Future Garden.

Bruxelles est la première ville étudiante du pays. La vie étudiante est dès lors un enjeu important pour le développement urbain à Bruxelles.

Le Parcours BD a été créé en 1991 pour embellir le centre-ville. Mais depuis 2016, diverses contestations ont émergé : absence d'autrice, représentations stéréotypées, discriminantes... En 2020, la Ville de Bruxelles décide de recontextualiser les fresques. Le Brussels Studies Institute a coordonné et réalisé cette mission avec ACME et le CBBD.

Van 25 tot 29 maart organiseren de Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) en de Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) een weKONEKT.week. Via meer dan 100 activiteiten verspreid over de stad Brussel, willen beide Urban Engaged Universities meer dan 6000 studenten, academici en Brusselaars samenbrengen rond kennis, wetenschap en cultuur.
