FairPlay is a serious game designed to delve into algorithmic fairness, inviting participants to immerse themselves in the complex realm of AI ethics. It provides players an opportunity to experience firsthand the implications of being governed by algorithms and to explore various fairness concepts. Representing students seeking housing, players are subjected to the decisions of an algorithm that determines who’s in and who’s out. The game scrutinizes the fairness of these decisions and examines techniques available to enhance fairness. Join us on Wednesday 27 March 2024 at BourseBeurs Brussels. This activity is organized by FARI: AI for the Common Good Institute.
